Psychologist for professionals – wherever you are

No travel, fits between your meetings. The same support, wherever you live or work.

Registered psychologist available online across Queensland and Australia.

Not a compromise. Just a more practical way to work.

Most of the professionals I work with lead busy lives. For many, online sessions make it easier for them to access support while minimising the impact to their busy schedule.

Whether you’re based outside Brisbane, working from home, travelling regularly, or just prefer the convenience of not travelling, online sessions can work just as well as in-person appointments for many people. Research suggests that telehealth psychology may be helpful for a wide range of issues — and for many clients, the accessibility makes it easier to commit to regular sessions.

I offer online sessions to clients across Queensland and Australia via secure online meeting. Everything we’d cover in person, we do online.

What to Expect from Online Sessions

The same approach, the same support

Online sessions follow the same structure as in-person appointments — same length, same evidence-based methods, same focus on what you’re working on. There’s no difference in what we can cover or work on in session.

Simple and straightforward to join

Online appointments using the Zoom platform. You’ll receive a secure link via email before your appointment. Click the link at the time of your session and it opens directly in your browser — no app downloads, no accounts required.

A private space that works for you

All you need is a quiet, private space and a reliable internet connection. Many clients join from home, their car, or a private office. If video isn’t working for any reason, we can switch to phone — the session continues either way.

Available across Queensland and Australia

I work with clients across Queensland — Brisbane, regional QLD, and interstate. Medicare rebates apply regardless of where in Australia you’re located, as long as you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP.

Online sessions aren’t a trade-off. The quality of the support, the depth of the work, and what you can achieve are the same — the only difference is where you’re sitting during your sessions.

I’m Adam Sadd, a registered psychologist and the founder of Uplift Psychology. With 17 years of combined experience across psychology, coaching, HR, and leadership, I have a practical understanding of how workplace pressure affects how we think, feel, and perform.

I work with professionals navigating anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, and career challenges — people who take their work seriously and want practical support that’s grounded in psychology. My approach is warm, inclusive, and focused on how you think and work.

FAQs

Research suggests that online psychology sessions may be just as helpful as in-person for many people. For most of the challenges I work with — anxiety, burnout, career difficulties, confidence, focus — online sessions can work well. Many clients find that the familiarity and comfort of their own environment supports the work rather than detracting from it. If there are specific reasons why in-person would be more appropriate for your situation, I’ll let you know during the intake call.

No. If you already have a Zoom account, you can use this, but it’s not required. You’ll receive a secure link via email before your appointment. Clicking the link opens the session in your web browser — no app, no account, no download required. If you’re using a work device with security restrictions, your personal phone, tablet or home computer will work just as well.

Yes. Medicare rebates apply to online sessions in the same way as in-person — you’ll need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, which allows you to access up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year. Your location in Australia doesn’t affect your eligibility.

Note — you are unable to access rebates for any sessions where you are located outside of Australia.

No — I see clients across Australia via telehealth. Medicare rebates are available regardless of your state or territory, as long as you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP.

If we lose connection during a session we’ll pick up where we left off — by phone if needed. Technical difficulties are rare but straightforward to manage. Just call or message if something isn’t working and we’ll sort it out quickly.

For most of the presentations I work with — anxiety, burnout, confidence, career challenges, focus and procrastination, sleep difficulties — online sessions can work well. If you’re unsure whether your specific situation is a good fit for telehealth, bring that question to the intake call and we’ll work it out together.
